Grassland Conservation Conference

A major challenge of applied ecological research is dissemination to conservation practitioners. In order to maximise the impact of research and to ensure current conservation issues are highlighted for potential research and to ensure current conservation issues are highlighted for potential research it is important for scientists and practitioners to work together. The Grassland Conservation Conference aims to provide a platform for the development of collaboration and knowledge exchagne between scientists and practitioners.

The key note speaker is Dr Richard Jefferson, who has over 25 years experience working for Natural England as a Senior Grassland Specialist. Richard's lecture Evidence to Advice: How research practitioner partnerships can support successful grassland conservation will open proceedings and is sure to stimulate discussion.
